Qualifications

• 2 years experience job-related experience (Required)
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, faculty, administrators, students, and the public from various backgrounds (Required)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, to faculty, staff, students, and individuals at various organizational levels (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to compose, edit and proofread reports, memos and other correspondence according to standard English grammar, punctuation and prose (Required)
• Skill in handling confidential matters and maintaining confidential student files with tact, sensitivity, discretion, diplomacy, integrity, and professional maturity (Required)
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work both independently and as an effective member of a team (Required)
• Working knowledge of graduate degree program requirements and regulations (Preferred)
• Demonstrated skill in using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Required)
• Familiarity with electronic contact record systems (Slate, Salesforce) and graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator) (Required)
• Knowledge of UCLA campus systems (Preferred)
• Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends and evenings (Required)

Responsibilities

• Schedule and enrollment management for MQE program
• Admissions processing and tracking for current cycle
• Coordinate and manage special events and programs
• Serve as main point of contact for prospective and incoming students to improve retention
• Support recruitment, enrollment, student and career services
• Prepare reports, memos, and market research summaries
• Assist Chair and MQE Faculty Director with tracking student progress and MQE files
