Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a seasoned Director of Marketing & Proposal Delivery to drive revenue growth by leading marketing and pursuit teams.

You will oversee end-to-end proposal efforts from go/no-go decisions through submissions, coordinating with Market Leads, Operations, and Discipline Leads to win opportunities. The position is based in Boise, Idaho, with on-site work required and relocation support for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Business, Marketing, or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years demonstrated career progression in a management or leadership role.
• A/E/C industry experience required.
• Proven track record of leading teams, including remote teams.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit marketing across markets and delivery methods.
• Oversee pursuit planning, win strategy, and team coordination.
• Direct RFQ/RFP/SOQ/proposal efforts for on-time delivery.
• Develop and manage pursuit schedules, roles, and workflows.
• Facilitate storyboarding and proposal kickoffs with teams.
• Ensure tailored proposals meeting client needs and criteria.
• Mentor proposal managers and marketing specialists.
• Maintain standards, templates, and resources for proposals.
