The role includes building industry presence and managing client relationships while aligning market sector strategies with HDR’s standards.

The position emphasizes technical leadership, strategy development, and mentorship of senior staff. Travel and presence across HDR locations are involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in related field.
• Professional registration in Architecture or Engineering (as applicable).
• Experience managing diverse teams.
• Collaborative with other business class directors, operations managers, technical directors, and marketing managers.
• Committed to quality and HDR values.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build relationships and coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
• Lead risk management and ensure quality standards and delivery.
• Oversee development of tools, standards, and techniques to improve service quality.
• Support client management, proposals, and project development.
• Mentor technical leaders and oversee planning, modeling, and design services.
