Job summary

HDR is seeking a Business Class Director for Integrated Watershed Management to lead technical capabilities and coordinate with multiple HDR groups. The role directs quality, risk management, and strategic delivery across service lines including watershed management and water supply.

The candidate will mentor leaders, oversee planning and design activities, and lead client development while advancing HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
• Professional/Architecture/Engineering registration for technical leadership roles.
• Experience leading diverse teams and coordinating with multiple directors/managers.
• Commitment to HDR values and the employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Build close working relationships with related business classes, market sectors, and operations.
• Lead and participate in technical risk management and maintain quality standards.
• Oversee development and application of technical tools, standards, and techniques.
• Mentor technical leaders and support client development and project pursuits.
• Coordinate planning, modeling, and design services within the business class.
