Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field; Master’s preferred; MPH required if not licensed.
• 5+ years Infection Prevention experience in a hospital setting and 5+ years managerial/leadership.
• CBIC certification required at time of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; statistical analysis; infection control software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention program design and implementation.
• Collaborate with departments and committees to meet goals.
• Monitor surveillance data and report infection rates.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CDC, CMS, and Joint Commission.
• Oversee policy development and staff education.
