Texas A&M University is seeking an Executive Director of Global Programs & Education Abroad to lead Education Abroad, Global Programs, and Compliance within Global Engagement. The role shapes university-wide international initiatives and ensures program integrity while partnering with leadership and advisory boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, including at least five years of direct leadership experience in international higher education roles.
• Terminal degree or work towards terminal degree or equivalent in higher education, international education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a key member of the Global Engagement leadership team, acting as deputy to the Associate Vice President.
• Guides the development and implementation of innovative global programs aligned with institutional priorities.
• Supports strategic planning and ensures measurable progress toward internationalization goals.
• Directs and executes special projects as assigned by the Associate Vice President to advance strategic priorities and respond to emerging opportunities.
• Represents Global Engagement on University committees and task forces.
