Job summary

Spring Health seeks a Director of Financial Reporting to ensure accurate, timely GAAP financial reporting and to oversee technical accounting matters across the organization. You will coordinate with Accounting leadership on consolidation, standard-setting, and complex transactions such as mergers, new products, and equity-based compensation.

You will guide cross-functional teams on contract terms and regulatory filings, while driving policy development and improving reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with complex financial reporting and technical accounting.
• Familiarity with enterprise reporting systems (NetSuite, Workiva).
• Ability to oversee audits and liaise with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of GAAP financial statements.
• Lead consolidation of results across Spring Health’s business units.
• Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards.
• Provide technical accounting support for complex transactions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on contract terms and accounting treatment.
• Develop and implement financial reporting policies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with state-specific reporting and regulatory filings.
