Job summary

RGA is seeking a Director, Financial Reporting & Allocation Strategy to lead enterprise-wide allocation efforts in the US. You will drive process simplification, integrate TBM with IUC, and partner with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliant allocations.

Bold leadership and deeply analytical thinking are required to manage complex restructurings, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax or equivalent experience; a graduate level degree would be an asset.
• Minimum of 8 years Finance, Accounting or Tax experience.
• 4+ years supervisory or management experience.
• 3+ years public accounting experience would be ideal.
• 5+ years insurance/reinsurance accounting experience would be ideal but not a requisite.
• Experience with TBM taxonomy and Apptio is a preferred asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise-wide allocation strategy and ensure transparency, accuracy and compliance across entities.
• Improve EBMs allocations and align legal entities for accurate reporting.
• Integrate TBM with IUC process to deliver a unified framework.
• Maintain transfer pricing documentation with Global Tax.
• Oversee Apptio platform and allocation methodologies.
• Support entity restructurings ensuring alignment with management and legal perspectives.
• Design and re-engineer allocation processes to meet changing needs and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate complex issues clearly to senior management.
