Job summary

United Planning Organization Inc is seeking a Director of Contracts, Risk Management and Compliance to lead risk assessment across programs and finances. The role involves managing liability insurance procurement, drafting and reviewing contracts, and enforcing compliance with federal and local regulations.

You will collaborate with General Counsel, facilities, and program teams to implement controls, train staff, and prepare reports for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle private, sensitive, confidential information appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Knowledge of compliance and risk-management matters involving federal and local funding streams.

Responsibilities

• Identify programmatic, financial safety and security risks through risk assessment and evaluation.
• Maintain liability insurance policy and fulfill contract requests and requisitions.
• Develop and manage risk management and compliance policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with brokers, underwriters and third-party administrators; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Create contingency plans and conduct periodic risk analyses for executive leadership.
