Heidrick & Struggles is seeking a Director of Risk to lead the firm’s client/engagement and third-party risk programs. You will own the risk framework, set escalation thresholds and partner with Legal, Procurement and Finance to ensure compliant, commercially viable engagements.

The role requires deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS, extensive experience in risk governance, and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6–10 years of risk management, compliance, governance or legal operations in professional services or a global firm.
• Hands-on expertise across client/engagement risk and vendor/third-party risk frameworks.
• Experience with federal contracting (FAR/DFARS) and government audits.
• Ability to translate risk requirements into operational processes, workflows and controls.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across geographies.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end client/engagement risk framework and vetting standards.
• Lead risk review for US federal contracts from solicitation to closeout.
• Review solicitations, awards and contract modifications for FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Partner across Legal, Compliance, Procurement and Finance to monitor contracting obligations.
• Develop risk training, playbooks and governance reporting.
• Maintain risk registers and defendable audit trails for Board leadership.
