Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Sr Director of Commercial Excellence to lead cross-functional initiatives that drive productivity across AGT segments. The role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, reporting to the VP of Commercial Excellence, and managing 2-3 strategic programs concurrently with executive visibility.

You will build a high-performing team, partner with stakeholders, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable business impact aligned to Lumen's three-year plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in strategy, operations, or project leadership roles with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, able to navigate complex challenges.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery—from initial framing through execution, with tracking and impact realization of new operating models.
• Develop strategic frameworks with a focus on actionable insights and results.
• Lead complex program management efforts, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to align initiatives and drive innovation.
• Engage stakeholders to identify challenges, propose solutions, and manage expectations.
• Deliver presentations and updates to executive leadership.
• Oversee continuous improvement processes to ensure impact.
• Build and sustain a high-performing team of skilled resources.
