Job summary

Fordham University in New York seeks a Director of Alumni & Career Services to lead the design, development, and implementation of alumni and career programs across campuses, expanding engagement and volunteer opportunities.

This role reports to the Assistant Dean for Admissions and oversees continuing education, licensure prep, student ambassadors, and the London Summer Program, with periodic travel, weekend, and evening work.

Qualifications

• Master’s of Social Work degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work education, admissions, and/or social work administration/leadership.
• Experience with university data systems (e.g., Banner) and educational platforms.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements comprehensive alumni and career service programs, activities, and strategies to increase short and long-term alumni engagement and volunteer opportunities.
• Oversees MSW professional licensure preparation services and programs.
• Oversees the administration and logistics of continuing education offerings, ensuring GSS compliance as a continuing education provider.
• Assists the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Fordham Office of Alumni Relations in cultivating and expanding GSS alumni relations.
• Provides leadership and administrative oversight to the GSS Student Ambassador Program
• Collaborates with faculty and the Director of Student Services in the administration and logistics of the GSS London Summer Program
• Supports new student recruitment and enrollment initiatives across all degree programs and campus locations.
