Job summary

Charter Communications seeks a Senior Director of Accessibility to lead enterprise-wide accessibility initiatives across Spectrum’s digital products. You will drive left-shifting accessibility, embed standards in design and engineering, and scale testing with automation and AI while guiding a cross-functional, cross-department collaboration.

You’ll oversee budgets, contracts, and roadmaps, mentor leaders, and push for inclusive UX across products, services, and experiences.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accessibility, assistive technologies or product management within consumer services or product organizations
• 10+ years of management experience
• Experience with HTML and front-end code languages
• Experience writing accessibility requirements for customer-facing apps
• Extensive experience leading creative and technical teams to deliver accessibility features

Responsibilities

• Guide and inspire a collaborative team by harmonizing diverse perspectives to deliver innovative digital products
• Set and track performance targets to ensure high standards and accountability
• Develop and mentor leaders and direct reports, fostering growth and communication
• Provide strategic direction for new product development and accessibility technologies
• Review bids for contracted projects and ensure alignment with objectives
• Direct contractors and manage capital budgets
• Build partnerships across departments to ensure consistent delivery of accessible products
• Guide accessibility roadmap and leverage new technologies
• Analyze performance reports and develop actionable insights
• Oversee timelines, milestones, budgets and go-to-market activities
