Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 5 years of progressively responsible municipal dev. services experience, incl. planning, zoning, permitting, economic development, or related areas.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Valid Arizona Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee daily operations, programs and strategic initiatives of the Development Services Department.
• Lead development review activities, economic development programs, and cross-departmental initiatives.
• Coordinate complex development projects across City departments; administer policies, budgets, contracts, and performance measures.
• Represent the City in meetings and events; build relationships with stakeholders and residents.
