Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Progressively responsible experience in municipal planning, permitting, development services, inspections, code administration, or local government may be considered.
• Supervisory or department management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage municipal development services including building permits, inspections, planning and zoning, subdivision review, and customer service.
• Ensure development activities comply with ordinances, codes, plans, and state/federal requirements.
• Lead staff, coordinate with elected officials, boards, and partner agencies; maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
