Job summary

Westchester Children's Association in White Plains is seeking a proven fundraiser to lead our development and communications work, building real donor relationships and driving a strategy that hits its numbers.

Reporting to the Executive Director, this full-time, hybrid role oversees the Development & Operations associate, manages the donor pipeline, events like the Gala and Annual Advocacy Breakfast, and shapes our messaging across channels to mobilize supporters.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fundraising experience.
• Proven track record building and executing fundraising strategies.
• Experience managing at least one direct report.
• Experience with EveryAction CRM and data-driven strategy.
• Comfort managing owned communications channels (newsletters, blogs, social).
• Strong organizational skills; genuine commitment to Westchester County kids.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and AI approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own fundraising strategy, lead campaigns and events on plan and budget.
• Lead the Development & Operations associate and provide regular feedback.
• Cultivate donors from first gift to major gifts and steward relationships.
• Oversee donor pipeline hygiene, CRM upkeep, and event logistics.
• Shape messaging across channels; coordinate with PR firm for content.
