Job summary

Project Access-New Haven, part of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Development Specialist to plan and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy. You will manage donor relations, events, and database management, driving stewardship and reporting to the Executive Director.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in nonprofit fundraising, a Bachelor's degree, and proven ability to build community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Proven donor cultivation and stewardship success.
• Experience planning and executing fundraising events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and donor databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with New Haven nonprofit/philanthropy community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual fundraising plan aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors; manage solicitations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events.
• Maintain donor database; generate reports and analytics.
• Support fundraising communications and represent the organization at events.
