Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Director of Annual and Leadership Giving to advance the philanthropic mission across the health system. You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors capable of giving $5,000+ and elevate leadership gifts to major giving levels.

The role provides enterprise-wide leadership for annual giving staff across DN and SL, collaborating with YSM to align strategic objectives and donor engagement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years in healthcare fundraising.
• At least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience in an academic health system or similar environment; campaign experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate strategies to obtain outright annual gifts.
• Collaborate with advancement communications for content and collateral.
• Lead donor stewardship to illustrate impact of unrestricted support.
• Develop donor experiences and engagement initiatives annually.
• Track and report key performance analytics for leadership and annual giving.
• Manage a 12-month program calendar with DN annual giving staff.
• Travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
