Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Analyst, Program Deputy Manager in Goleta, CA. The role reports to the Program Director as the Information System Owner (ISO) for a high-priority, proprietary program within Advanced Technology.

The candidate will coordinate with Digital Technologies, Cybersecurity, and Facilities to ensure resources, security approvals, and milestones align with cost and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field.
• Experience managing projects or programs
• Experience with industry or with government customers
• Experience with MS Office Suite and/or related software applications
• Project management or related business experience
• Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start with ability to obtain program access after start

Responsibilities

• Interface with the government Program Office (Information Owner/Steward) and Program Security Officer (PSO), the Area of Responsibility PSO, and the Information System Authorizing Official (AO) or other AO designee; Delegated Authorizing Official (DAO) and Security Control Assessor (SCA).
• Coordinate with AT and functional leadership to communicate status and drive solutions to mitigate cost/schedule risks.
• Collaborate with Digital Technologies, Cybersecurity, Contractor Program Security, Facilities, and Engineering for procurement, development, integration and testing of new program hardware.
• Develop a strategy for connectivity between geographically separated locations and establish/maintain connections.
• Develop a program roadmap and strategy for current and future development and transition contracts.
• Ensure infrastructure is in place for dynamic program needs and future transition efforts.
• Assume ISO responsibilities for the program's classified networks and security objectives.
• Direct activities with significant impacts, including new products and standards.
• Solve complex problems in a closed environment with limited web tools.
• Improve processes and systems through innovative solutions.
• Perform program management duties when PMs are out, interfacing with customer, leadership, and PMO components.
• Support proposal efforts to grow the program
