Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead execution across a portfolio of Air Force development programs, including radar development and processor initiatives. You will oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance while driving disciplined program execution and proactive customer engagement.

You will manage cross‑functional teams, lead major proposal efforts, and ensure timely delivery to U.S. Air Force and DoD customers in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
• Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical execution using EVMS and/or similar tools.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to obtain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance and program access after start.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution across major Air Force Development programs, including engineering development, processor initiatives, and production and sustainment efforts.
• Drive alignment, coordination, and execution excellence across interconnected program areas within the AF Development portfolio.
• Lead procurement, manufacturing, integration, and testing for engineering development units and related deliverables.
• Serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) with responsibility for program planning, baseline management, and earned value performance.
• Manage development activities for advanced processor hardware, ensuring alignment with broader radar and sensing program needs.
