Job summary

RTX's Raytheon Vision System in Goleta, CA seeks a Program Manager to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex defense programs. You will manage cost, schedule, EVMS, and risk, coordinate with IPTs and customers, and drive technology roadmaps for Emerging Innovations in Tactical Products.

This onsite role requires DoD clearance and strong leadership; travel is expected to support program execution and customer engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
Experience interfacing with customers, vendors and cross-functional teams.
Program management skills including cost, schedule, EVMS, risk & opportunity, bids and proposals.
Experience in Focal Plane Assembly design, manufacturing, and processing or related technical development experience.

Responsibilities

Establish and manage financial baselines aligning with program objectives and customer expectations.
Serve as central hub to enable the Chief Engineer, IPTs, and the functional team to execute effectively.
Support bidding, proposals and execution to contract requirements, including managing budgets, schedules, and technical performance metrics.
Travel domestically for business and customer needs.
Drive technology development and roadmaps.
Align CRaD with RVS Internal Research and Development (IRaD)
