The Tucson Airport Authority seeks a Deputy General Counsel to assist the EVP/GC in providing comprehensive legal guidance to TAA management and the Board on a broad range of matters—from routine to complex. The role supervises staff, guides contract drafting and negotiation, and advises on governance and regulatory compliance.

Successful candidates will have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, active Arizona Bar membership, and at least eight years in relevant law areas.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Arizona State Bar admission (active).
• Eight or more years of experience in business, contracts, transactional, commercial, environmental, regulatory, public and/or real estate law.

Responsabilités

• Support EVP/GC in providing legal advice to management and the Board.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and leases for TAA properties.
• Advise on corporate governance, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and supervise direct reports to maintain high skill levels and airport knowledge.
