Responsibilities

• Drafts, negotiates, and reviews major transactional agreements for the university.
• Provides legal opinions and guidance based on federal/state law and university policies.
• Advises on regulatory compliance and complex business transactions.
• Represents ASU in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and disputes.
• Researches laws, legislative histories, and policy implications for university operations.
• Collaborates with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed.
• Maintains relationships with regulatory and legal resources and participates in meetings.
