Job summary

Nestlé USA in Solon, OH is seeking a Sr. Manager of Demand and Supply Planning to lead a high-visibility, cross-functional team and ensure demand and supply plans support customer service and total delivered cost goals.

The role interacts with sales, marketing, finance, procurement and production to align forecasts, optimize working capital and drive standardization across planning processes. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS), preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years related work experience.
• Minimum 8+ years Production Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations experience.
• Previous experience managing people is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentoring for a team of Demand Planners and Supply Planners to develop careers and improve competency.
• Execute plans to achieve and exceed customer service, working capital, waste, and forecast accuracy targets.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance and ensure one-number alignment for accurate downstream forecasts.
• Partner with procurement, technical and production to collaborate on opportunities in the supply plan.
• Develop and guide standardization and drive change across demand and supply planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve core business objectives and resolve complex problems.
• Identify and drive process improvements and productivity projects with cross-category standardization.
• Drive project execution and implementation to ensure initiatives deliver intended outcomes.
