Job summary

Vantive, a leading organ therapy innovator based in Deerfield, IL, seeks a Demand Planning Manager to drive US/Canada forecasting, inventory optimization, and analytics-driven decision making. You will partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate demand plans and profitable growth.

You will lead process improvements, implement planning technologies, and champion AI-enabled insights to transform how the business plans and executes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects, business transformation initiatives, and organizational change efforts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience improving business processes and implementing sustainable governance and performance measurement frameworks.
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly demand planning and forecasting process across multiple business units in the United States and Canada.
• Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts aligned with commercial objectives and operational requirements.
• Analyze demand trends, customer behavior, market conditions, product lifecycle changes, and promotional activity to improve forecast accuracy.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to develop consensus-based demand plans.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify root causes of forecast variance, and implement corrective actions to improve planning effectiveness.
• Assess current demand planning processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, accuracy, and business performance.
• Design and implement enhanced planning processes, workflows, governance models, and reporting capabilities.
