Job summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting for domestic and international channels.

The role collaborates with IBP, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Vineyard/Winemaking, and executives to balance customer service with inventory cost and bottling efficiency. The position requires a strong foundation in forecasting, planning systems, and analytics, with preferred experience in Anaplan and APICS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• MBA preferred for advanced roles.
• APICS certification preferred is a plus.
• Expertise in supply chain planning principles and IBP.

Responsibilities

• Use planning systems (Anaplan preferred) to build baselines forecasts.
• Lead demand planning processes to identify opportunities and risks against forecast.
• Facilitate IBP with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations and Winemaking to align demand and supply.
• Collaborate with supply planning to ensure availability meets demand.
• Provide transparency to demand plans for stakeholders.
• Utilize data-driven metrics to improve forecast accuracy.
• Work with IT to develop reporting for the demand process.
• Develop dashboards and input screens within planning tools.
• Lead forecasting improvement initiatives and train staff.
