Job summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates seeks a Demand Planning Manager to drive forecasting and integrated business planning for domestic and international channels. You will collaborate with IBP, Sales, Marketing, and Winemaking to balance service levels with inventory costs and bottling efficiency.

You will lead dashboards, reporting, and forecasting improvements while partnering with IT to deliver data-driven insights and continuous process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Expert in supply chain planning principles (Demand Planning, MRP, DRP, Capacity Planning, Inventory Control, S&OP, IBP).
• Forecasting concepts include statistical modeling and promotional planning.
• Experience with planning systems such as Anaplan, Oracle APS, JDA, SAP_APO, or similar.
• Power user of Excel, Access, and SQL data warehouses.
• Knowledge of demand metrics and reporting.
• Understanding of winemaking lifecycle preferred.
• APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use planning systems to build low level statistical baseline forecasts.
• Lead demand planning processes against the company forecast.
• Facilitate IBP process with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Winemaking.
• Ensure supply supports demand plans via the supply planning team.
• Provide transparency to demand plans for stakeholders.
• Use data-driven metrics to improve demand plan accuracy.
• Develop reporting in collaboration with IT for the demand process.
• Create dashboards and input screens in the planning software.
• Lead forecasting improvement initiatives and training.
