Job summary

Sunco Lighting Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner based at our Valencia, CA headquarters.

The role centers on forecasting and inventory planning across e-commerce, Amazon, retail, wholesale, marketplace, and DTC channels to drive business growth. You will develop and maintain forecast models, collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance, and support new product launches.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, demand management, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain planning across multiple sales channels.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting and inventory management principles, including lead times and stockouts.
• Experience with demand planning software, ERP systems, inventory planning tools, and advanced Excel.
• Proven ability to review system forecasts, apply overrides, and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain demand forecasts across Amazon, e-commerce, retail, wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels.
• Analyze sales trends, seasonality, inventory levels, promotions, and market activity to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review system-generated forecasts and adjust planning assumptions based on business needs.
• Monitor inventory health and recommend replenishment actions to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts and inventory strategies.
• Track forecast accuracy and KPIs while supporting continuous improvements in processes and tools.
• Manage demand planning systems, inputs, and item-level assumptions to generate accurate forecasts.
• Support new product launches and channel expansions through demand forecasting and readiness assessments.
