Job summary

Sunco Lighting Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner to drive forecasting and inventory planning across e-commerce, Amazon, retail, wholesale, marketplace, and DTC channels.

You will develop and maintain demand forecasts, translate data into actionable recommendations, and collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Supply Chain to support product launches and channel expansion.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain planning across multiple channels.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning principles including safety stock, seasonality, lead times, and forecast accuracy.
• Experience using demand planning software, ERP systems, and AI-driven tools to improve forecasting and reporting.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable inventory and purchasing recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain demand forecasts across multiple channels (Amazon, e-commerce, retail, wholesale, marketplace, DTC).
• Analyze sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and market activity to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review system forecasts, apply adjustments, and maintain planning assumptions based on business needs.
• Monitor inventory health and recommend replenishment actions to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to align forecasts and inventory strategies.
• Track forecast accuracy and KPI s while supporting process improvements in forecasting and reporting.
• Manage demand planning systems, inputs, and master data to generate accurate forecasts.
• Support new product launches and channel expansions with readiness assessments.
