Job summary

Sunco Lighting Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner to drive forecasting and inventory planning across e-commerce, Amazon, retail, wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels.

The role requires building forecast models and coordinating with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations for optimal inventory levels. Based at our Valencia, CA headquarters with an on-site schedule, you will partner with Finance and Leadership to support product launches, channel expansion, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in demand planning, forecasting, inventory or supply chain planning across multiple sales channels.
• Knowledge of demand planning principles: sales velocity, seasonality, lead times, safety stock, forecast accuracy.
• Experience using demand planning software, ERP systems, inventory tools, advanced Excel, forecasting models, and AI-driven tools.
• Ability to review/adjust forecasts, document assumptions, and translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations & Finance.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain demand forecasts across Amazon, e-commerce, retail, wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels.
• Analyze sales trends, seasonality, inventory levels, promotions, and market activity to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review system-generated forecasts, apply adjustments, and maintain planning parameters.
• Monitor inventory health and recommend replenishment actions to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align forecasts with business priorities.
