Job summary

Sunco Lighting Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner to drive forecasting and inventory planning across e-commerce, Amazon (FBA/FBM), retail, wholesale, marketplace, and D2C channels.

The role focuses on developing forecasts, analyzing trends, and aligning plans with sales, purchasing, and operations to support growth and optimize inventory health. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, with proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and AI-driven tools

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory planning, or supply chain planning.
• Experience with demand planning software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel.
• Ability to review and adjust system-generated forecasts and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Sales, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance.
• Experience across Amazon (FBA/FBM), retail, wholesale, marketplace, and D2C channels.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain demand forecasts across multiple channels (Amazon, e-commerce, retail, wholesale, marketplace, D2C).
• Analyze sales trends, seasonality, inventory levels, promotions, and market activity to improve forecast accuracy.
• Review system-generated forecasts and adjust planning assumptions as needed.
• Monitor inventory health and recommend replenishment actions to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
• Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to align demand plans with business priorities.
• Track forecast accuracy and drive improvements in processes and tooling.
