Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Strategic Demand Planner in Buffalo, NY to lead demand planning for multiple time horizons across customers and markets. You will develop 24-month forecasts, evaluate forecast accuracy, and coordinate IBP pre-meetings with cross-functional partners.

You will support sales, marketing and finance to align the demand plan with the annual operating plan, participate in Demand and Supply Review meetings, and release weekly and monthly consensus plans to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or related field with 5+ years of statistical forecasting and supply chain experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g.; APICS).
• Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 24-month forecast and demand plan at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
• Evaluate accuracy of forecasts and determine forecast value add.
• Coordinate IBP pre-meetings to reconcile variances and refine the demand plan.
