Oldcastle Infrastructure in Warren, MN, is seeking a Demand Planner to align production with sales forecasts and inventory needs. You will collaborate with manufacturing, distribution, and sales to build a responsive production plan for high-volume SKUs.

The role focuses on improving forecasting accuracy, optimizing inventory, and connecting Sales and Operations to unlock capacity. You will analyze long-term demand, monitor KPI performance, and support new product launches and transitions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in demand planning.
• Proven SKU management in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to develop production plans and communicate recommendations to executive management.
• Skilled at cross-functional collaboration in a matrix organization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; NetSuite/SAP experience preferred.
• Data mining and analytical skills with MS Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a planning or similar role; advanced degree accepted in lieu of 3 years’ experience.
• BS degree in supply chain, operations management, business related field highly preferred.
• In-field work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Lean Six Sigma preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage a production plan based on sales demand, forecasts, and inventory requirements to meet customer service goals.
• Develop strategic vision to improve forecast accuracy and optimize inventory levels.
• Implement robust process to connect Sales and Operations that strengthens site capacity.
• Analyze longer term demand to address production capacity surplus or deficits.
• Statistical analysis of sales history to identify trends and leveling load production.
• Coordinate with Sales & Marketing on new product launches, transitions, or discontinuations.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Service Managers, and Transportation to improve order fulfillment.
• Maintain KPIs and update ERP data fields driving planning.
