Job summary

Crestron Electronics Inc. is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join the supply chain team and lead strategic demand planning initiatives.

The role focuses on data-driven forecasting, market trend analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize inventory and support sales objectives. The successful candidate will drive accurate forecasting, participate in S&OP, and implement continuous improvements in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, Statistics, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, or related analytical roles.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas).
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools for visualization and reporting.
• Proficiency with Kinaxis, SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, or similar demand planning software.
• Experience with integrated ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Expertise in quantitative forecasting methods (moving averages, regression, time-series).
• Ability to explain forecasts and risks to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling demand forecasts using statistical models and business intelligence.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to improve forecast accuracy.
• Monitor forecast performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Utilize advanced analytics tools to manage demand planning processes.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management and Supply Chain to align demand with objectives.
• Participate in S&OP meetings to present forecast insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with supply planning, procurement, and operations to ensure demand signals are communicated across the supply chain.
• Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting models and processes.
• Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and demand variability.
