Job summary

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Demand Planner to generate item-location demand plans and drive sales, service, and waste reduction. You’ll forecast across multiple horizons, analyze trends, and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to reflect current business assumptions.

Responsibilities include maintaining forecasts, communicating plans to shop operations, tracking KPIs, and supporting growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning, merchandise, or retail planning.
• High proficiency with demand planning systems such as Oracle DM Cloud, SAP IBP or Blue Yonder.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to spot trends, opportunities and risks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; data analysis and visualization skills (Power BI preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts at multiple levels over 12–18 months.
• Analyze historical trends, inventory data, and demand assumptions to refine forecasts.
• Lead cross-functional efforts to investigate variances and update models.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to reflect current business assumptions.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate short- and long-range demand plans to customers and shop operations.
• Coordinate demand planning activities supporting growth, cost reduction, and waste reduction.
