Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Nashua, NH, seeks a Customer Demand Manager to lead demand planning and forecasting for the High Speed Backplane portfolio. You will analyze historical data, forecast trends, and align demand with supply to optimize inventory and production planning.

This role requires collaboration with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Finance to drive revenue and efficiency. The position emphasizes data-driven insights, backlog analysis, and regular demand reviews

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in demand planning, customer demand management, supply chain, product management, operations planning, or financial analysis.
Experience in connectors, electronics, manufacturing, or a related industry is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis, forecasting tools, ERP systems, BI platforms, or demand planning software is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data-management capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly present data-driven insights, risks and recommendations.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with Product Management, Sales, Operations, Finance, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

Own and manage customer demand planning activities, including forecasting and demand reviews.
Collect, validate, and consolidate customer forecasts, purchase orders, and backlog data.
Analyze historical demand, booking patterns, and market trends to develop accurate demand projections.
Improve forecast accuracy by identifying forecast bias and demand variability.
Maintain demand planning databases, reports, and dashboards for cross-system access.
Align customer demand forecasts with internal supply, inventory, and production capacity.
Partner with Operations to support capacity planning, material planning, inventory management, and production prioritization.
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to demand fluctuations and market changes.
Facilitate regular demand reviews with Sales, Product Management, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Support development of short-, medium-, and long-term demand plans for the portfolio.
