Job summary

LG Electronics USA is seeking a senior-level Demand Planning lead to manage CPFR activities for major retailers, including Home Depot. You will forecast demand, analyze trends, and collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to optimize inventory and service levels.

The role emphasizes data-driven forecasting, proactive communication, and strategic allocation decisions to meet sales targets while reducing costs. A background in CPFR and strong stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field.
• 7+ years of demand planning or related experience.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of CPFR and forecast management.

Responsibilities

• Elevate impact of operational targets through strategic initiatives and network visibility.
• Gather market intelligence to produce accurate forecasts using internal CPFR tools.
• Participate in weekly conference calls with internal/external customers.
• Facilitate weekly meetings to generate consensus forecast (sell-out/sell-in).
• Prepare action plans, contingency plans, and align decisions with BM, PM, and sales teams.
• Identify customer needs and changes in demand proactively.
• Develop YOY analysis tool to validate forecasts.
• Look for process improvements to optimize network strategy with customers.
• Share insights on demand shifts and market trends.
• Use sales trends, BI data, ML suggestions, and competitive intel shared by customers.
• Negotiate allocations under factory constraints.
