Job summary

Sakata Seed America in Woodland, CA is seeking a Vegetable Demand Planner to balance supply and demand, forecast sales and manage intercompany procurement of finished goods. You will generate 36‑month forecasts, lead CPFR activities, support S&OP, monitor inventory targets and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Product Management and vendors to keep supply aligned with demand.

• 5 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, production and inventory planning.
• 2 years’ experience in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning).
• Knowledge of CPFR and intercompany procurement.

Responsibilities

• Generates 36-months statistical sales forecast & supply forecast; analyzes trends, seasonality and promotions.
• Manages demand review with sales and finance to reach an unconstrained forecast.
• Executes CPFR with Sakata internal vendors and develops constrained sales plans.
• Supports annual Sales Budget and quarterly Latest Estimate with 12-month forecasts.
