Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Demand Planner to ensure accurate category-level demand forecasts. You will collaborate with the statistical modeling team and cross-functional partners to develop forecasts, analyze market trends, and drive supply chain decisions.

The role emphasizes strong analytical skills, data interpretation, and effective communication to translate insights into actionable plans for inventory optimization and production alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (supply chain, industrial engineering, business) is required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data, market trends and insights.
• Proficiency in statistical forecasting methods, demand planning software, and advanced Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned product categories using historical data, trends, and insights from stakeholders.
• Analyze factors affecting demand (category trends, promotions, seasonality, distribution channels) to build a rolling long-term plan.
• Collaborate with DP & DSP Managers and cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy.
• Communicate forecast changes, risks, and opportunities to support supply chain and business decisions.
• Monitor market trends and adjust forecasts as needed; conduct regular forecast reviews.
