Job summary

Viasat is seeking a highly accomplished Business Development Manager to advance new opportunities in the Advanced Cyber and Electromagnetic Systems (ACES) unit for US government customers. You will own the full BD lifecycle, build strategic relationships with DoD decision-makers, and shape capture strategies to win large contracts in EMS, SIGINT, and ELINT domains.

You’ll travel up to 50% and collaborate across product, engineering, legal and marketing teams while advancing multi-year growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive DoD and defense industry relationships
• Experience winning large government contracts

Responsibilities

• Lead full business development lifecycle from opportunity identification to capture strategy and proposals.
• Develop high-quality, compliant proposals in response to solicitations and negotiate arrangements.
• Identify and vet teaming partners and subcontractors to strengthen offerings and win major contracts.
