Job summary

Sword is seeking a Deal Desk & Contracts Manager to guide deal structure, pricing, and contract terms across the commercial team. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to draft, review, and negotiate agreements, ensuring timely execution and alignment with company policy.

You will own the contracting workflow end-to-end, advise on commercial levers, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce/CLM, enabling scaling of the business while upholding risk controls and legal standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Deal Desk, Contract Management or Commercial Legal Ops.
• Negotiating redlines on commercial agreements.
• Coordinating multi-party approvals across Sales, Finance, and Legal.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial judgement.
• Experience with Salesforce and CLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end contracting workflow for deals; drafting from templates and driving to signature.
• Review and negotiate MSAs, order forms, BAAs and performance guarantees; escalate non-standard terms to Legal.
• Run the approval process: route discounts, non-standard pricing and risk terms to the right approvers and ensure SLAs.
• Advise reps on deal structure and the commercial levers available to them, coaching on standard positions.
• Maintain the system of record in Salesforce and the CLM, with a smooth handoff to Billing and Account Management after signature.
• Maintain the Deal Desk playbook: fallback positions, clause library, approval matrix.
