Job summary

Intuit, Inc. seeks a principal-level data scientist to set the data science direction for Workforce Solutions and accelerate growth. You will partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Finance leaders to shape multi-year roadmaps, define growth metrics, and turn bets into testable hypotheses.

You will lead end-to-end data strategy, design experiments, and mentor other data scientists, driving measurable impact across payroll, time, benefits, and contractor payments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science or analytics with strategy setting and outcomes across business units.
• Deep expertise in causal inference and experimentation, including quasi-experimental methods.
• Direct product and growth roadmap experience and data-backed hypothesis influence.
• Executive communication skills with Directors, VPs, SVPs.
• Ability to partner with XFN leaders and manage a broad portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own the data science strategy for Workforce Solutions end to end and size underlying drivers.
• Analyze customer behavior to drive attach, activation, and retention growth.
• Set the experimentation bar and apply causal methods where clean tests aren’t possible.
• Define the Workforce Solutions metric system for attachment, growth, engagement, and retention.
• Synthesize performance narratives and translate segments into bets.
• Own data architecture and instrumentation powering clean views of performance.
• Mentor senior data scientists and raise data science standards across the org.
• Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Design, Engineering, and Finance leaders.
