Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a principal data scientist to set the data science direction for Workforce Solutions, spanning payroll, time, benefits, and contractor payments. You will partner with product, design, finance, and engineering to shape a multi-year roadmap and define growth metrics.

You will own the data strategy, design high-stakes experiments, and mentor senior data scientists, translating customer behavior into testable bets and scalable analytics across the QuickBooks ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science or analytics with strategy experience.
• Expert in causal inference and scalable experimentation.
• Proven ability to direct product and growth roadmaps using data-backed hypotheses.
• Excellent executive communication with senior leaders.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional leaders and prioritizing a broad portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own data science strategy for Workforce Solutions end-to-end.
• Analyze customer behavior to drive attach, activation, and retention.
• Design and adjudicate high-stakes tests using causal methods.
• Define and own the metric system for key growth signals.
• Synthesize performance narratives for the portfolio and leadership.
• Develop understanding of customer segments and growth bets.
• Own data architecture and instrumentation powering clean views.
