Job summary

Intuit's Global Business Solutions Group seeks a principal-level data scientist to set the data science direction for Workforce Solutions and accelerate growth in payroll, time, benefits, and contractor payments.

This role spans the full portfolio, partnering with product, design, engineering, finance, and marketing to define metrics, run experiments, and deliver a testable growth roadmap that informs senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science or analytics with strategy impact
• Deep expertise in causal inference and experimentation
• Proven ability to direct product and growth roadmaps
• Executive-level data storytelling and communication
• Ability to partner with cross-functional leaders
• Knowledge of subscription growth and product-led growth
• Advanced SQL and Python; experience with ETL in enterprise data
• Mentor senior data scientists and set technical standards
• Payroll/HR fintech or AI agent systems experience is a plus
• BS/MS in quantitative field; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the data science strategy end to end for Workforce Solutions.
• Analyze customer behavior to drive attach, activation, and retention.
• Set experimentation bar and adjudicate high-stakes tests with causal methods.
• Define and own the metric system for workforce growth metrics.
• Synthesize performance narratives for leadership on growth drivers and headwinds.
• Understand workforce customer segments and translate into bets.
• Own data architecture and instrumentation powering performance.
• Mentor senior data scientists and raise organizational standards
