Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Strategic Customer Product Architect to collaborate with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Design teams to develop scalable, customer‑aligned data center infrastructure solutions. You will lead technical discovery with customers, translate requirements into robust MEP designs, and contribute to BoD documents and technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in mission‑critical infrastructure, MEP engineering, data center design, or related environments.
• Strong knowledge of data center cooling systems, power distribution, redundancy, and scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier Standards, ASHRAE, and TIA‑942.
• Experience supporting customer engagements and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and related design tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand infrastructure requirements and design constraints.
• Translate requirements into scalable MEP infrastructure solutions for data centers.
• Develop and review BoD documents and customer solution packages.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor during engagements and design alignment discussions.
• Support complex deployments including hyperscale and build‑to‑suit projects.
• Create and maintain design packages for single‑site and multi‑campus deployments.
• Collaborate with Sales and Solutions Engineering on proposals and solution development.
• Contribute to RFP/RFQ responses and technical narratives.
• Provide guidance on evolving customer requirements and infrastructure trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, deploy speed, and design standardization.
