Associated Bank is seeking a Portfolio Relationship Manager to own a growing lending portfolio and drive deal execution from origination to funding. You will lead underwriting, manage high‑value transactions, and mentor a team of portfolio managers in a fast‑paced financial environment.

You will source and structure opportunities with sponsors and financial institutions, while aligning with risk and strategic goals. Strong credit, relationship building, and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
• 2+ years of strong industry knowledge in data centers, infrastructure, or commercial lending.
• 2+ years of expertise in financial modeling, risk assessment, and loan structuring.
• 2+ years of proven ability to manage client relationships and negotiate deal terms.

Responsibilities

• Source, structure, and execute new lending opportunities with sponsors and financial institutions.
• Lead the underwriting and credit approval process, ensuring transactions align with goals and risk framework.
• Oversee existing and new transactions, handling loan modifications, compliance tracking, legal documentation, and financial analysis.
• Act as the central point of contact for borrowers, sponsors, legal advisors, risk teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Manage a team of portfolio managers, providing mentorship, training, and oversight to drive operational excellence and career growth.
• Navigate credit structuring, due diligence, and market trends in data center financing.
