Job summary

Associated Bank seeks a Portfolio Relationship Manager to own a growing lending portfolio and drive deal execution from origination to funding. You will work with sponsors, financial institutions, and internal teams to structure, negotiate, and close complex credit transactions.

You will lead underwriting, supervise a team of portfolio managers, and ensure compliance with risk guidelines while building strong client relationships and delivering high-value results.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
• 2+ years of data center, infrastructure, or commercial lending knowledge.
• 2+ years of financial modeling, risk assessment, and loan structuring.

Responsibilities

• Source, structure, and execute new lending opportunities with sponsors and financial institutions.
• Lead underwriting and credit approval to align with risk framework.
• Oversee existing and new transactions, loan modifications, and financial analysis.
• Act as central contact for borrowers, sponsors, legal advisors, risk teams, and stakeholders.
• Manage a team of portfolio managers and mentor staff.
• Navigate credit structuring and due diligence for data center deals.
