Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Economic Development Manager in Menlo Park, CA to drive data center site selection, incentive diligence and compliance across regions. You will partner with cross-functional teams including design, construction, legal, finance and tax to evaluate opportunities and optimize capital costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reports related to property and portfolio performance against budget and benchmarks.
• Interface with internal teams including data center design, construction, legal, payroll, finance, accounting and tax.
• Gather and analyze investment and employment data to support site selection decisions and compliance for existing regions.
• Maintain and optimize the data center incentive compliance program for the global portfolio.
• Complete diligence for economic development programs and state/local tax laws for new and existing regions.
• Build cost models to compare taxes and economic incentives in new and existing regions.
• Collaborate with economic development managers to prepare internal and external materials for site selection efforts.
