Job summary

Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is seeking a Data Analyst to drive analytical initiatives that improve quality, financial viability, sustainability, and efficiency of our services. The role develops and maintains strategic tools, supports planning, and collaborates across departments to benchmark pricing, markets, and customer satisfaction.

You will analyze financial data to support budgets, KPIs, and strategic objectives, teach process improvement, mentor teams, and participate in the leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field. Master’s preferred.
Four years of analytical experience in operations performance.
Experience with budgeting, KPIs, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Direct and develop initiatives to improve service quality, financial viability, sustainability, and efficiency.
Develop and maintain strategic analytical and financial tools for planning.
Collaborate with other departments on market definition, benchmarking, and pricing.
Analyze performance and identify actionable improvement opportunities.
