Job summary

Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) in Aiken, SC, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to serve as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity operations processes. You will coordinate with the ISSO and Cyber Manager to ensure all project activities align with SRNL cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and accreditation requirements.

You will manage project timelines, scope, and budget across internal teams and clients, with a strong emphasis on communication, risk management, and delivering

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 10–12 years in project management or cybersecurity operations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US citizenship required).
• Strong leadership, judgment, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience collaborating across functions and teams while building relationships.
• Experience with risk and change management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ISSO and Cyber Manager to incorporate cybersecurity requirements into plans.
• Ensure deliverables meet accreditation requirements and SRNL standards.
• Plan projects, review scope, create schedules, and coordinate resources.
• Serve as primary client contact, conduct kickoff meetings and updates.
• Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables; track progress.
• Identify and manage risks and scope changes with stakeholders.
• Prepare final reports and closeout documents.
• Build trusted cross-functional relationships and influence others.
• Demonstrate collaboration and critical thinking as success skills.
